In another development, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on Thursday, expressed shock over the death of a former Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission, FCC, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Dr Femi Ogunsola.

In a condolence message governor Abdulrazaq said, ” This is a tragic development and a sad moment for us.

“He was a community leader, a role model to several people from his community and beyond and an intellectual who served the state at different times.”

The governor added that the role of the late party chieftain as a political moderate and grassroots politician, will be sorely missed.

He commiserated with the Ogunsolas’ and the entire Babanloma community of Kwara State and prayed Almighty God to grant him rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the huge loss.

NAIJALOADED reports that late Ogunsola, who also served in different capacities under former Governor Bukola Saraki’s government between 2007 and 2008 died in Abuja on Thursday, though the cause of his death is yet known.
