Man Receives Refund From Dubious Policemen Who Collected His N150K

A Twitter user identified as Oluwa Pelumi has shared an update on how he received a refund from the police service after some group of policemen dubiously collected his N150K from him.

It would be recalled that a few days ago the Twitter user took to his page to lament about how some policemen dubiously took his money which sums up to 150K from him at Abeokuta. He narrated how these policemen took his phone, went through it, and realized he N288K in his account and they insisted he transferred N150K to them. He narrated how they took him to a POS agent to make the transfer to them.

After several rantings on social media, his complaints didn’t go unnoticed. The police commander invited him to his office and the money has been refunded. He gave an update on the Twitter page saying he has received a refund of his N150K.

According to him, the policemen who dubiously took his N150k were orderly punished for illegally taking money from him. He revealed that the policemen involved in the crime have been detained. He thanked the Commissioner of police for Ogun Stare for his efforts.

In a post sighted on his page, he wrote, “UPDATE: My money has been returned to me in full, and the officers have been detained. I was also at Eleweran today with @Letter_to_Jack to witness the Orderly Room trial of the officers. My special thanks to the Ogun Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun for everything.
