Popular Nigerian billionaire, Obinna Iyiegbu better known as Obi Cubana has broken silence after his reported release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. As reported earlier, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested the Anambra-born club owner who arrived at the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja is still under interrogation by the EFCC operators. However, Obi Cubana regained his freedom as he was released on Tuesday afternoon, 2nd November 2021, after a series of interrogations that lasted for several hours.

Obi Cubana who made history in Nigeria following a lavish burial ceremony for his late mum in Oba, a few months ago took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself looking very happy which tells his current state following his release and he expressed love for everyone who had reached out to him, adding that he’s unbroken.

He wrote: “Okpataozueora! I love you ALL!! UNBROKEN!!! manoftheyear2021″.

In what appears as a reaction to the reported arrest, Davido took to his Instagram story to share a photo of Obi Cubana hailing him for his wealth.

He wrote: Obi Nwere Ego (Obi have money)

Meanwhile, Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to Obi Cubana’s arrest. According to him, if Obi Cubana had last week, he won’t need all the explanation now as he has been traveling abroad all the time making him a point of interest and the pointed to the fact that the financial and security world exchange intel.
