See The 8 Solid Advantages Of Being A Nigerian – Which Others Do You Know?

Posted by on September 2, 2020 0

Even as many believe there’s nothing good about being a Nigerian, I’m here to disprove it that being a Nigerian has more advantages than any other nationals.

See the 8 solid advantages you will enjoy from being a Nigerian; 👇

Sit back & Enjoy:-

1. The ability to survive is inborn in the average Nigerian, turning stone to bread is our mastery.

2. Nigerians are good neighbours. We don’t ask “how are you” while walking away without caring about the reply, that’s fake love to us. When we ask “how are you,” we want to know if you’re okay, we want to help if we can.

3. When you hear “Nigerians love celebrating” that is true but one can not celebrate alone, inviting loved ones, strangers and even enemies to our parties is natural to many here… If they invite you to eat, drink and dance with them and you failed to show up, sorry is your name as you will forever remain in their black book.

4. Fake love can be easily spotted here. One does not go about telling people “I love you” casually, we rarely tell people “I love you”, we act it here, and when we do, it’s real as day, unique and genuine.

5. Nigerians value name a lot, a responsible Nigerian wouldn’t want to do anything that would tarnish his image and family name, hence the majority of us try to live right.

6. Depression, suicide are all new to us, it was never seen when I was a kid. People here are loud, they listen to music, dance and celebrate for no reason like little kids. But now, things are changing a bit. I’m sure it has to do with the government, social media and people living fake lives, trying to emulate celebrities.

7. Education is taken very seriously in most parts of Nigeria. Without a college degree, one might never get a good job. About the only time people won’t bother about your qualifications is when you’re rich, they think you know. One could say all sorts of rubbish and they would clap for them.

8. I know some folks and mostly the young might not agree with this but when I was a kid, doing good to your fellow man wasn’t being nice, it was a way of life and, telling one “thank you” was seen as an insult and, you would here questions like; “is it because of this little thing you’re thanking me? Can’t you do the same for me?”

All of this, our way of life, our reputation as a people is greatly corrupted now.

People trying their very best to survive has drifted many away from our original lifestyle, a few years back when you hear “Nigerians are good people, a great nation” it was an understatement, we were beyond that, we were indeed the salt of the earth and still is.
